Welcome To Frazer Williamson

Thank you for visiting this website.
It is hoped you will enjoy the words that are written.

You will find here Poetry, Short Stories, and Novels, the work of Frazer Williamson, all of which may be downloaded  and used to the benefit of others without  cost – for instance the Children’s Stories and some of the poems might be read at bedtime  or whenever  is a suitable time.

The ethos of the website comes from the firm and sincere belief that Jesus from Nazareth is God’s solution to reconciling humanity to Himself.

Frazer Williamson was born in Belfast in the United Kingdom just prior to the outbreak of World War Two. He lived in that City and in the countryside of County Antrim alternatively for many years. He attended  Grammar School until the age of fourteen after which he became educated  as a Joiner, and then later a Nurse both in Psychiatry and General Practice. He has a B.A. Degree in Philosophy and Literary Studies from The Queen’s University of Belfast. It was during his fourth decade that he was converted  to Christianity. Throughout his life he has been an avid reader and has had articles published in Psychiatric and Nursing Journals, and stories published in the Newspaper of the Western Writers of America in California.

He hopes you will enjoy reading what he has written and that your journey through life will be rough like velvet.

AND THE ROAD WAS ROUGH LIKE VELVET.

We went for a walk in the month of May,
When the land was as warm as a winter’s frost,
And the day was as light as the darkest night,
And the road was rough like velvet.

We held hands in the month of May,
And our hearts were as tender as flint,
And our bodies as young as an old song sung,
And the road was rough like velvet.

We married, of course, in the month of May,
And we were  as barren as a fruit-filled tree,
And our sorrow was absurd as a happy, singing bird,
And the road was rough like velvet.
